Anthony Slama PROMOTED!!!

Class AA New Britain righthander Anthony Slama has been promoted to Class AAA Rochester to replace Jeff Manship, who’s now with the Twins.

Slama, in 51 games at New Britain, was 4-2 with a 2.48 ERA while saving 25 games in 28 opportunities. He walked 32 batters in 65.1 innings but struck out 93 and held opponents to a .2o1 batting average.

There's also a fun story about Slama and some other, lesser call-ups that occurred today. This made my day... hope it makes yours too!
